Co-exhibitors of Sublime Terroir
Since taking over the family estate in 2007, fourth-generation Damien Livera has focused on lower yields, healthier fruit and increasingly precise vineyard work. Many of the domaine’s Pinot Noir vines were planted in the 1950s and 1960s, with several parcels lying close to some of Gevrey’s most renowned crus. Harvesting is done by hand, followed by traditional vinification and long ageing in the family’s naturally cool cellar. The wines combine depth, fine tannins and a clear expression of the different faces of Gevrey-Chambertin.
